In most cases, when you slow down to a certain point doesnt the engine cut out? Sprint cars dont have transmissions right? Have to be push started.

People that hate Stewart all see him as doing "Something" intentionally...these are the people that have referred to him with condescension and name calling in this thread.

 

People that think there "Has" to be somebody to blame for everything that happens in society...think Stewart intentionally did "Something" and it caused Ward's death.

 

Stewart Fans think he did absolutely no wrong.

 

I think it was an accident...and that accidents happen. I personally place more blame on Ward for his actions are 100% clear on the video and reserve the ability to place blame on Stewart if the evidence is clear that he intentionally tried to hit Ward. As much as everyone thinks they know what was going on in his head, no one knows if he even knew the kid was mad or even who had wrecked until he got back around to the car.

I don't have it nor have I claimed I did. Usually the burden of proof here would be on the side trying to claim he's guilty. I realize we're not in court, but we were he'd be innocent until proven guilty...

Not sure but that's how it used to be. Also as Doc noted these cars are very unresponsive steering at slow speeds.

I've read that they have to keep them around 35 to 40 even during caution laps.
