Any death is tragic and there are bad people in law enforcement just like in every other profession. In this case have I once stated the shooting was legit or even hinted to that end? No I've not, there has been too little information released on the shooting to get any kind if picture as to what happened. I'll reserve judgement until some more facts actually come out. They really have no reason to release anything in any case until the investigation is complete, no matter how much we want to be kept up to date on the latest findings. I defended the guys right to look for the kid...I don't think I ever justified shooting the dog. Not sure why your asking if I'm up to the challenge to change the way history is being written.

Are you quick to call out an officer that spews a racist remark when "the boys" are off duty? Let me guess. You've never been in a situation where such things have ever been said between you and all the choir boys you work with. There is a MAJOR problem in this country, and the GOOD COPS are the front line in changing what is becoming a terrible trend. What about all the unarmed white men who get shot. It ain't just blacks, it's whites too. Cops already have a very dangerous job, if a guy threatens to come at a cop, in 2014 you take no chances. Sorry all cops can't be Andy Griffith, but we don't live in Mayberry. Murder, you make it out to sound like cops go around and just shoot black people for fun. I don't think any cop leaves the house with the intent on killing anyone, black or white.
