August 10, 201412 yr Heisey is an idiot. Down 1 in the 9th, 0 outs, top of the lineup up and he gets picked off... It runs rampant through out the organization. There is a website that tracks baserunning blunders by team. The Reds are far and away the leader. Let me see if I can remember the site.

Had to be a perfect throw to get him. It just looks bad because of the other recent awful decisions he's made in that department. Now, Heisey? I would fine him. And give him a nice unspoken relegation to the bench for about 2 weeks. Simply zero explanation for that besides he wasn't paying attention.

He's been caught stealing/picked off more than Heisey as far as I can remember. With the Redlegs, aren't the signs sent from dugout to third base coach? How do we know if signs are being interpreted or given correctly by that third base coach? Just a thought.

The situations are different. Plus a caught stealing is an aggressive mistake, which are much more tolerable than boneheaded mistakes.
