Marlins @ Reds 8/8 - 8/10

Heisey is an idiot. Down 1 in the 9th, 0 outs, top of the lineup up and he gets picked off...

It runs rampant through out the organization.

There is a website that tracks baserunning blunders by team. The Reds are far and away the leader. Let me see if I can remember the site.

Taking the trips to their first Reds game today. Hoping the rain holds off.

Hope you and yours have a blast.:thumb:

Steve Smith is a terrible third base coach.nthat being said, I would have sent Jay last night as well. I was there and the play right in front of me. Had to be a perfect throw to get him. It just looks bad because of the other recent awful decisions he's made in that department.

Now, Heisey? I would fine him. And give him a nice unspoken relegation to the bench for about 2 weeks. Simply zero explanation for that besides he wasn't paying attention.

Who threw Bruce out at home?

Ozuna

Understand your point here, but the same for Hamilton? He's been caught stealing/picked off more than Heisey as far as I can remember.

With the Redlegs, aren't the signs sent from dugout to third base coach? How do we know if signs are being interpreted or given correctly by that third base coach? Just a thought.

The situations are different. Plus a caught stealing is an aggressive mistake, which are much more tolerable than boneheaded mistakes.

Hamilton has been picked off 6 times.

If the runner is thrown out by 5 feet, did it really require a perfect throw to get him?

3 excellent new Reds fan. I am liking your chances of making the Jumbotron. :thumb:

How many were down 1 with no outs in the 9th?

If the throw wasn't on the plate, then he's likely safe. Agree?

Mezzo with a slam and Cueto with his 14th win!

Would Mesorasco have even played today if Pena had been healthy?
