August 8, 201412 yr Marlins come to town for the Reds Hall of Fame weekend. Tonight, Mike Leake takes the bump against Nathan Eovaldi, who threw 7 innings of 2 hit, 1 run ball his last time out, which was also against the Reds. Tomorrow night, along with the Hall of Fame inductions, the Reds send Aflredo Simon to the mound. Marlins pitcher is TBD. Sunday afternoon, Brad Hand is the unlucky chap that gets to square off against Johnny Cueto. I see 2 of 3 for the Redlegs this weekend.

August 8, 201412 yr Are you being serious? Yes. That's what Marty stated last night during the game. He hasn't pitched in MLB since 2012, but he has been pitching for their minor league affiliate. Miami Marlins news: Brad Penny may join rotation - Fish Stripes

Miami Marlins news: Brad Penny may join rotation - Fish Stripes The Reds are really lucking out on the pitchers they have been facing of late, didn't 3 of the 4 starters they faced against Cleveland either just got called up or were immediately sent down after the Reds game?, and now they're facing the 2 Brad's. I think the Marlins are awful, Reds sweep.

August 8, 201412 yr Author Would anyone else flip Negron and Bruce? Not in a million years. The 2 spot is perfect for Bruce. We all saw what happened to the last young inexperienced middle infielder the Reds tried to make into a 2 hitter.

August 8, 201412 yr Got a bad feeling about this one. My boy looks like he's having control issues here early on.
August 9, 201412 yr Leake got out of the 6th without too much damage. A good throw by Hamilton might have keep it nil nil.
