Paragraph breaks. Please.

LOL

Sorry about that professor i didn't know this was english class.I get going and don't have time to stop I may lose my train of thought if I do. Haha.

KHSAA is a complete joke.

Clay Co has kids every year that should be ruled ineligible either by not loving in Clay or etc.

KHSAA is a big joke.

Univ Heights sure never recruited either.

Has nothing to do with English class and everything to do with making it easier to read for everybody. I'm not the only one who often skips over some 400-word post with no paragraph breaks because they're so hard to read. And when people skip over your post because of that, whatever good stuff you add to the discussion gets glossed over in a skim or outright ignored.

I don't know of a Clay County kid that's every been there who contributed that didn't live in Clay while they were enrolled there. That'd be one heck of a commute from most places.

Now, if we're talking about kids who transferred in, then yes, some moved into the area and lived there while in school.

People consider getting kids like the Ashers in the late 1990s from Redbird when one of the two went to a grade school in Clay County for awhile anyway, or the Feltners, both of who went to grade school in Clay County up until the 6th grade or so, "transfers", then that's painting with a pretty wide brush. Yes, I'd agree that they're 'transfers' under the strict definition, but people have blasted me for saying I considered the Johnson kids at Holmes to be transfers for those same reasons.

If we're being honest, Clay County lost much more than they gained for the early part of the 2000's. They lost Kevin Collins, Eric Fields, and Matt Watkins to South Laurel alone. Not too bad of a haul considering all 3 of those kids started on a State Tournament team at South Laurel.

Typo

Not only can South Laurel thank Clay Co. for its contributing to their state championship team, they can also thank North Laurel as well since Fields transferred there first and left because he wasn't getting enough PT during the foreign exchange/Shiloh's fiasco.

Super kid, by the way. Well, he's not a kid anymore, but I knew him as a high schooler.

For sure. I've played many softball games with Fieldsy. Great dude.

Cksports fan I am saying oumar keta's Mali I'd,his passport, his I 20, and his offical birth certificate says this kids birthday is 12-22-1999. I say other sites that had him listed as a freshman last year. That was wrong also. All I am saying is oumar keta is not 19 years old. I can go into detail about where this got started but I won't on this board. If you talk to oumar he will tell you he is 14 years old. If you have ever been around him you could tell he is not 19. Maybe my other post was taken wrong. I should have said the only concrete proof they have other than hear say evidence is the coach coaching without completing his medical symposium. Cordia has not done any thing any different than any other school has done. Thes chatohlic schools can take kids from all over and it is not considered illegal come on man all they are doing is cheating the system by using a loop hole. First off cordia has not done anything. The lotts creek community school(a non profit organization that is affiliated with the school. They are the last of 100 settlement schools still in operation. They have many community based functions. The treatment these players receive is readily available to all cordia students. Did you know any cordia student that graduates receives a scholarship to go to college. It is evaluated on a need be basis any where from $1500 to $5000 dollars per year. That system has been in place for at least 30 years. I graduated there in 1989 and I got money every semester I was in college. They provide clothing and furniture as needed to every student and their families and even in certain cases some people gets their electric bills paid in emergency cases. Cordia student have been staying in housing owned by the lotts creek community school since the 1950's and no not just athletes stay there. It is a really unique place that most people don't know anything about. The lotts creek community school a totally independent third party is what the khsaa is having a hard time separating the two. The lccs has been providing services for the school and the community for many years. Now all of a sudden that some of the kids are good ball players it is a problem. In years past when the kids couldn't play a lick it was not a issue.

While I don't normally read posts that are a huge conglomeration of words (sorry old teaching habit from way back), how are the Lots Creek Community School and Cordia related? I mean what does Alice Whitaker do exactly? Is she in charge of the school? How does this entity relate with one another?

Turn them in.

Univ Heights sure never recruited either.

University Heights was busted and punished.

Thanks for the update on the witness list, poster who didn't know the significance of Hudson's guardian before this morning.

If the KHSAA gets info from somebody (in this case, Hudson's guardian), looks into it and determines it's TRUE, then Cordia does NOT get the benefit of putting its accusers/whistleblowers on the stand.

Since the KHSAA does its OWN due diligence before handing down punishments, about the only person Cordia will be able to call to the stand is ... the KHSAA.

You're trying to imply/infer Hudson's guardian MUST take the stand (and therefore get Hazard in trouble, too). I'm saying it won't happen.

KHSAA has plenty on Cordia without Hudson's guardian being involved.

If Hudson's guardian had THAT much info on Cordia that was TRUE (true enough to get 14 sanctions leveled against Cordia), than it is CORDIA'S own fault someone who was no longer connected to the school had that type of dirt on them.

If you let someone into your mafia and the new mafia member turns around and rats you out, you do NOT blame the new mafia member. The Godfather (Rhodes/Whitaker) should've had the new mafia member (Hudson's guardian) sleepin' with the fishies if they were worried it would be this big of a problem.

Apparently they weren't.

And it came back to bite 'em.

Or maybe Hudson's guardian is lyin'. Maybe, but I doubt the KHSAA would level 14 sanctions based on a bunch of lies and ZERO FACT CHECKING of its own.

KHSAA is smarter than that, dude.

One person saying "This skool is cheatin" is NOT enough to get a school leveled with the KHSAA version of the death penalty. Come on.

He's NOT 19.

He's 18. He turns 19 in December of this year.

I would think the basketball academy where he came from in Africa (Dieda) would know, considering its had his photo and birthday posted on its website ON THE SAME page since early 2013 (perhaps earlier). Its goal is to get African kids playing in American schools so theyy can be seen by colleges; in that regard, Dieda succeeded.

Like Keita (or his handlers) would be the first person to lie about his age.

Danny Almonte's handlers lied so he could pitch in the LLWS.

Shabazz Muhammad (UCLA) lied, or his parents lied, to make it look like he was the best player of his age in the country (except he wasn't that age).

But to go from 18 to 14? Come on?

And to think you get a foreign-exchange kid for more than a year? Really?

How many foreign-exchange eighth graders from around the state, in any sport, had you heard of previously?

I guess he has a fake passport, fake Mali I D and a fake birth certificate. 2nd correction he is not a foreign exchange he has political asylum. That gives him the same rights and privileges as a U S citizen. He can stay in this country forever and never have to return. I am not calling you a liar but I think the info you are getting is wrong. He may be 30 years old for all anybody knows but what you go by is the documents he has and all those are consistant in saying he is 14 will be 15. He was taken to the dentist last fall. He had never been to the dentist before. His 12 year old molars were just coming in. I don't know how much more evidence anyone could need. That's all I am going to say about this.
