July 28, 201412 yr I'm not saying Yuengling is bad. I drink it. But I also think it is a little over hyped . I may be in the minority but if I'm drinking a regular domestic I prefer Coors. If we are talking best beers I don't think dogfish Head has put out a beer I didn't love.

July 28, 201412 yr Gonna add that one to the list. Dogfish Head. If you like IPAs their 60 & 90 minute brews are a must for anyone. If you are lucky enough to find the 120 minute buy as many as you can and save them and brag to your friends.

Have you tried Lagunitas IPA? I've drank that and the DFH 90 back to back and preferred Lagunitas. I've not had the DFH 60 or 120.

July 29, 201412 yr Have you tried Lagunitas IPA? I've drank that and the DFH 90 back to back and preferred Lagunitas. I've not had the DFH 60 or 120. Yes. Love both but I'm a DFH loyalist. 120 is nectar from the heavens.
July 29, 201412 yr Ok, IMO to be overrated you either have be considered, or bill yourself as, a premium beer. So that creates some classes. The has beens. -Moosehead, 20 years ago I would agree but now. Who drinks it? -Killian's, once upon a time this was a good beer. Coors bought it and turned it into crap. They don't even advertise this stuff, it's irrelevant. Can't be overrated cause their not really rated. -Miller High Life - It's a beer that I drink on occasion. So is PBR. -Rolling Rock - It's $17.99 for a 30 pack at Liquor Barn. Enough said. Maybe in Texas or California. -Anchor Steam, on the west coast they act like it's something really special. It's an ok overly malted beer. -Shiner Bock, same for this beer. Except it's Texas. I do like Shiner though. The cult following beer. -Yeungling, I like it. It's a good beer. But it has a cult like mystique about it, and it's not THAT good. -Corona, any beer you have to squeeze a lime in to cover the crappy stinky taste, isn't worth drinking. Yet, it still has a cult like following. Truly overrated IMO. -Blue Moon, first massed produced Wit. Was hugely popular for a while and is starting to die off now. Why? Because it's not very good. Like Corona, if you have to put fruit in it, there's something wrong. Over priced = overrated -Kentucky Bourbon Barrel, it's ok on tap but not great. It's awful out of the bottle and for the price it should be great. -Stella, nothing special about this overpriced beer. Just flat terrible, and really overrated -Red Stripe, this stuff is just not good. Could choke one down if I had to, but why try. -Magic Hat #9, a little worse than Red Strip. Worst beer on earth and advertises like crazy. -Heineken, can't even drink this stuff. It's worse than awful. Can't speak for the other one, I've never had it.
July 29, 201412 yr Gonna add that one to the list. Dogfish Head. No you didn't!! I enjoy Dogfish, although there are several varieties I could live without. The 60 minute IPA, Indian Brown Ale and Hellhound on my Ale are great. Some really are just a little too weird, and most of their beers all high alcohol content, so you really can only drink 1 or two at a time. I'm from Delaware and have visited the brewery quite a few times, so I'm probably a little biased.
