People can and will argue this list all day. I agree that it is odd to rank teams from all of the classes. My one comment is ranking Central Hardin at #9 is absurd.

FWIW, at this point rankings for across the classes would be next to impossible but if I was pressed to give a Top 10:

I re-posted what someone else wrote. Plus I live in KY. I'm not trying to cover Texas HS Football while living in Massachusetts. The same author wrote pre-season Top 10's for a number of different states.

CovCath is my preseason pick to win the 4a state title.

I'd say #10 was supposed to be Madison Southern based on the Harris kids high ranking.

I love my Colonels, but I have a hard time seeing them ranked in front of St. X.

Polls are meaning less.
