So why do you ask HB? Because it conflicts with your long standing notion that Cov Cath should not be considered one of the top programs in the state?

 

I think it shows that sensible folks can see that just because you don't get by Highlands every year doesn't mean you shouldn't also be considered one of the better teams in the state.

 

Personally I would put them on the fringe of top ten but this poll obviously has no bearing on anything - just fodder for discussion like we're doing.

I love HB as a guy, I truly do, but why do you even engage him when CovCath is the topic? Are you a glutton for the same debate over and over and over and over. My man loathes my alma mater, which is fine, but I would think by now you'd just read it, roll your eyes, and move on. Works for me....and I consider him a friend.

Agreed. Still....there's still something to be said for pointing out gaping holes in people's arguments every once in a while.

Dixie....but it was close between DHS and CovCath. One guys opinion only, of course.

Just to be accurate, this is not a poll - votes are cast in a poll, this is one man's list.

 

Power rankings would be a more accurate description.

State rankings are difficult enough but I always chuckle when I see national people trying to do state rankings. Completely worthless... Other than to talk about.

Actually it was a joke but sort of figures the thin skinned folks would take offense to it.

That's who I figured. The CCH - Dixie was very close but that was also the game where CCH lost their starting QB and RB. I believe their replacements each had a fumble that resulted in a turnover. But at the same time Dixie had a few turnovers.

After last year I will probably be leaning towards Dixie in the match up between the two this year. But this wouldn't be the first Dixie team the lose to a CCH team they should have beat.....

I actually do like CCH. I really truly do, what I get a kick out of is stirring the pot with those that never ever see CCH in an unbiased light no matter what the subject matter, wether it be sports related, academically or personal conduct.
