Reds @ Yankees (July 18th - 20th)

Featured Replies

UKMF just tweeted me and he's down at the Buckle Music Fest watching Alabama, so I'm going to start the first thread after the All-Star break. Reds were doing well in their series before the break, so hopefully they can stay hot.

Tonight we got:

Leake (7-7, 3.54 ERA) vs. Phelps (3-4, 3.94 ERA)

5. Mesoraco C

6. Ludwick DH

7. Pena 1B

8. Heisey LF

9. Santiago 2B

Reds starting a little slow on offense.

Let me put my Dusty lineup hater hat on and ask ... what the heck is this idiot Price doing batting Cozart second? Heisey is hitting over .300 over the past week or so of games. Cozart is at .238.

Yanks score in first but Pena ties it up with a solo HR.

Reds scratching their way back into the game.

I knew MJ starting this thread was a bad idea. :(

Due to me being out of town, I watched this game on MLbTV. Went with YES Network, night and day difference vs Fox Ohio. Michael Kay actually knows baseball and provides intellectual commentary as well. It was a great viewing experience besides the game.

That first one is on UKMF for dropping the ball. They'll get me two more.

Big Pasta hung a curve to Beltran in the bottom of the 2nd to make it 1-0 Yanks. Reds currently batting with 1 out in top of 3rd.

Did i just see what I saw.

Pasta throws a 40mph ball 10 feet over the catcher, then Bruce misses a lazy fly ball. This team is toast.

I'm more worried with the TURRIBLE play by Bruce than I am the misguided euphus pitch.

This team is lazy and doesn't care, they all have Vottos mentality, lalalalallalala. Like a bunch of smurfs out there picken flowers.

I don't think you can group the whole team into that category but there are a few that go through the motions occasionally. Not every game but every now and then.

Hitters seem to be lost at the plate, last night and today...:ohbrother:
