Was listening on the radio and Brennaman and Cowboy both said it was Frazier's ball.

 

Any of the three could have made it.

 

If Phillips is in the field, I guarantee you he makes the play.

Bruce clearly quit on the play. He could have been there easily.

 

Of the three, Bruce had the longest run. He ran hard a lot longer than the other two, hesitated when he could tell he likely could not get to the ball and looked at the infielders, then saw they were lost and tried again to get to it.

 

Frazier - he ran past the ball. He not could get to the ball, and he did get to it but he lost it, overran where the ball hit and watched the ball hit between him and home plate. Frazier was the player who clearly could have and should have made the play.

 

Skip - Pointed to the ball and Frazier when it was first hit then started running when he saw Frazier had lost it. If he goes for the ball from the start, he could have reached it.

I thought it was Skips ball, maybe just used to seeing BP make that play over and over and over again.
