July 6, 201412 yr I would trade Votto for Price any day of the week! Then trade altos or Cueto for a bat. I like that trade as well, but man they need power hitters in the LF and at 1B positions. It's embarrassing to be in that ball park and not have 5-6 hitters with close to 20 homers at the All-Star break. They are a boring team to watch, chicks not only did the long ball, but hell I do as well. Good pitching is great, but lets get some bats. I think Frazier and Meso power numbers will tail off as the season goes on, maybe considerably.

July 7, 201412 yr With Votto's injury concerns the guy the Reds should look into is Casey McGehee in Miami. Very affordable, and could fill in at either 1st or 3rd if Votto is out. No clue if the Marlins would be willing to part with him.
