Keep an eye out for Jacob Noe at Highlands. He can literally jump out of the gym, his Dad was a state champion high jumper who got a track scholarship and went on to high jump like 7ft I believe.

Good call, Q.

In 1988, Tom Noe set a state record & jumped 6' 10.75''.

Here are the records: http://khsaa.org/records/track/statetrackmeetrecords.pdf

Jacob is a very good player. I heard him an the other freshman Braden Posey will be 2 kids who could help jump start the program.

I think both boys will play pivotal roles in the near future.

Nooooo way he is the beat freshman!! He would be in line behind Rico Hollis, Raavai Commadore, Brennan Hall, Nelson Perrin, Austin Lay, Adam kunkel ( if that's how you spell it) a a few other young men.

This is in response to Miller being the beat freshman.

Not sure I know who this is! Probably would if I seen him play????

LJ Miller is Jared Miller's son..

Cooper should have a nice class.

Kunkel

McNeil

Lay (is he going to Cooper?)

Got to add Ollier kid also to that list. 2 years in a row went to national free throw championships a few years back, good ball handler and nice shot.

Is Rico going to be eligible? I have heard there are issues .... definitely a nice player.

I honestly doubt it. I mean He is great player but the attitude/ disobedience and lack of respect for teachers will keep him in a lot of trouble.

He had his issues last year at NMS but I see no reason why he won't be eligible. I'm more worried about older brother Ricardo (who is also a really nice player) than I am him.

He has been eligible all football season so no reason to believe he won't be for basketball season.

I agree with you he is a very talented player, but worry about other things getting in the way. Hope to see all things work out for him!

Stevie Pangallo. Guess which school. Here is a hint. Grandpa is varsity head coach.

Name for me one point guard named Pangallo at NewCath, that wasn't a stud point guard?

The consensus from talking to coaches at this level who have seen the talent regularly is that Rico Hollis is the best freshman followed closely by Raavai Commodore of Holmes.

Defensively Perrin can lock down just about any frosh guard in NKy.

What top freshman played with the NKY Legends? I know these kids Hall (NCC), Perrin (Scott), Williams (SK), Commodore (Holmes). ????
