Whatever. These players don't owe the owners crap. The owners invented the art of disloyalty. He owes absolutely nothing to Dan Gilbert. And Gilbert proved why shortly after that.

Gilbert would take Lebron back in a flash, it's all about business and money.

Why does a player owe an owner anything? Gilbert made more money off Lebron than vice versa.

The Cleveland area is convinced he is coming back. It's all over the TV, radio, and print . Everyone has "insider" info. I recently just moved here so part of me wants Lebron to come back because it will be a fun party down with Lebron here, the other part of me really wants Cleveland fans to get their hopes up and have dreams smashed again.

I wouldn't be surprised if he came back to Cleveland or if he stayed in Miami. Because of DWade's contract I think he should go back to Cleveland.

I never said he owed Gilbert anything. I'm saying someone who was simply trying to raise money and have the "best of intentions" would've at least given the teams a heads up. He wanted it to be a circus, and it was.

I'm sticking with LeBron going back to the Cavs.... unfinished business there and we all know how much LeBron cares about his legacy. Also, LeBron never ever wanted to be a "villain" to anyone, he wants to be loved, and there's no better way to do that than to go back to Cleveland. Oh, and it doesn't hurt they have a rising team with young talent (Irving, Wiggins, Thompson, etc).

I agree with whoever said that winning a championship in Cleveland is worth more than in Miami (so far as a legacy is concerned). Even if he'd won four titles in Miami, it's like a flash in the pan to those people. He goes back to Cleveland and wins even one... they'll love him forever and talk about him even after he's long dead. They just care more. Always will.

I think I have heard that as well. But from what I understand it was just before. For all intents and purposes they didn't know until the announcement.
