July 7, 201412 yr Yep. It's NY or LA, and no one else is even being considered. Knicks and Lakers are the choices. According to Stephen A. (who I trust more than anyone), the Knicks are most worried about Miami, not LA. LA made a heck of a presentation though. The pitch is to show Bosh the door, he can sign for max money in Houston. Melo can then come to Miami on a short enough max deal so that he has time in his career to get more money down the road.

July 7, 201412 yr :lol2: Stephen A claims to be very tight with Melo so we shall see. Well if what he says is true, then that should bode really well for the Knicks (or that it shows LeBron is gone). Makes sense to me, he never claimed they were a frontrunner, just that they feared the pitch to Miami the most. He has felt all along both are staying but that they would LOVE to play with one another at some point. I love LA but I can't see the lure of it at this point. I will still believe LeBron and Melo are gone only when I see it.
