That's how I've seen them going and why I fully have not eliminated the possibility of Melo coming to Miami. It is still tough to imagine Melo leave 30 million on the table by leaving NY.

 

But my rationale is that Bosh's value to the Heat only comes about if he plays as an interior player. He is now exclusively a perimeter player which greatly devalues his worth to the Heat. If they are not going to upgrade on the inside they can upgrade Bosh's position.

Would it be $30M? I read that in taxes alone he'd save $15 over the length of the contract if he left NY for a non-tax state. Most of that $30 comes from an extra year he can sign for in NY doesn't it? If so he can still get paid for that season on next contract.

He even got dogged out by Barkley when he left the Cavs!

I think the one thing that stands out to me is that he is playing for the Heat but teams are flying in to Cleveland to meet with his agents. If Cleveland can't get him back that has to be one of the biggest fails ever. :lol2:

I never would have dreamed this would be happening at this point. From Dan Gilbert, fans burning jerseys, and to LeBron openly admitting he does not like the City of Cleveland I just never thought it would happen until later in his career. Then again, I never imagined he would call a one hour special to give the City of Cleveland the middle finger so I am numb to any choice he makes.

Looking more and more likely Bosh might go to Houston.

The Cavs just today removed the Dan Gilbert letter to fans from their website.

 

I heard that and am amazed. Gilbert should have taken that down within days of putting it up. It almost becomes a negative that he took it down now. Of course he has to take it down if he wants to seriously consider LeBron, but the fact that it was still up works against Cleveland big time if I am LeBron.

I think a max contract is what he wants and will go to the place that can pay him properly and put the pieces together to win.

 

Lebron is not the first superstar to leave a team to chase a title somewhere else. Shaq, Pippen, Drexler, Barkley.....they all left teams to chase a title. How come Lebron is always treated as the bad guy when he does it?

You must have me confused with someone else. I haven taken up for Lebron quite often. I accused him of quitting on Cleveland in his last year there but other than that I have taken up for him more than most. I think to this day I am still the only person who was in favor of The Decision.
