June 24, 201412 yr Big 3 owed $60Million plus each of the next two years...The NBA issued new projections for the 2014-15 salary cap and luxury tax thresholds. The 2014-15 salary cap is now projected to be $63.2 million and the tax level is projected to be $77.0 million...that doesn't leave much room for any substantial help. Opting out and taking less by all three could free up an extra $15-20M to go after another stud player :thumb: Or a couple really good players (which they need).
June 24, 201412 yr I think they all opt out to sign at lower deals (Lebron, Wade, and Bosh). Looks like the plan is coming into focus, it appears they will all come back at lower rates and try to make some tweaks to the roster. Now if this all falls apart I can see Lebron going somewhere else, but as long as they get a couple more guys who can help on the roster I see them all coming back to Miami.
