One comment I heard was that if all three do the same thing then it will be a sign to us that they are all working together again. Also heard that Bosh will almost certainly opt out because if he doesn't, the Heat could trade him. Again, it is about the players taking control of the situation they play in next year.

I heard more than one person say that Bosh would almost certainly get a max deal. There are teams with cap space who would do it. Plus, as I mentioned above, if Bosh doesn't opt out the Heat can trade him. I will be shocked if Bosh doesn't opt out. The only possible reason Bosh would not opt out is if he thinks the Heat would not resign him. He is said to absolutely love it in Miami and does not want to leave.

Wade is really the only one who shouldn't opt out, and that's only in some circumstances. As things stand, you'll probably know something is up if all three of them end up opting out because it likely means they've talked about it, and want to keep playing together and see the opt-out as a way to do that while surrounding themselves with more talent. Even if everyone else leaves, Wade would still be smart to opt in because he's probably not getting more than what he's guaranteed under his contract on the open market. Him opting in could be something that sends a ripple effect throughout the league though, because it could mean that LeBron will wind up thinking he's just as well off in Cleveland or elsewhere, and then a chain reaction goes around the league. Like him or not, LeBron is pretty much holding the decisions of almost every other team in the league hostage right now. Once that piece falls into place, the league's picture becomes clearer.

If the Heat offer James the max salary and D-Wade takes another pay cut, they won't be able to afford much more.
