Should be an interesting season!

Someone please post the schedule

August 29 Campbell County Away 7:00

September 5 Bryan Station Away 7:30

September 12 John Hardin Home 7:30

September 20 Paducah Tilghman Home 3:00

September 26 Covington Catholic Home 7:00

October 3 Harrison County Away 7:00

October 11 Christopher Columbus Home 1:00

October 17 Holmes Away 7:00

October 24 Elder Home 7:30

October 31 Warren Central Away 8:00

As you requested.

I am going with 8-2...Losses to the Blue Colonels and Elder.

5-5

Ok I'll bite. Who are the 5 losses?

I see possibly 7-3 or 8-2 this season.

They will have to protect Hoge or he will be scrambling for his life. The Birds lost some key receivers including Feggins. Zach Harris will be tough to replace as well, the kid was tough as nails and their go-to guy for tough yards.

They will beat Campbell, Harrison and Holmes the rest will be a toss up.

Is the Christopher Columbus school out of Ohio or Florida? Thought they were playing a Florida team again?

That is the team from Miami.

Do not worry about the team(s) that envy all the regional, state championship that FT Highlands have. Those team(s) just wish they can come close to what the Birds have accomplished year in and year out. Those team(s) ALWAYS talk about " This is their year ", but yet ALWAYS comes up short and can't seem to get over the hump by beating the Scott Co, Trinity, Saint X, Lou Male or Manuel. FT Highlands, keep doing what your doing and that's win, win and win some more.

Well said. I thought this thread would blow up when it was started, but the majority of the Bird faithful are either silent or perhaps have left the building all together. I am curious to hear more about the Wide Receiver situation now that Jensen Feggins has decided to transfer and a majority of last year's receivers have graduated. Big hole to fill in the backfield now that 3 year starter Zack Harris has moved on. Offensive line graduated everyone with only one player returning who has any experience.

Defensive side of the ball should be the strong point of this team IMO. Lots of kids returning that gained valuable experience at the LB and DL positions. Who will play Corner and Safety on this team?

Another tough schedule for Highlands. Can't wait for the September 12th game, although I don't think it will be as close as last year.
