Open Carry

Featured Replies

Anyone on here open carry or have any views on these guys who are going into major businesses with rifles? Seems like it's counter productive as businesses are banning weapons.

I've seen handguns on many occasions. Never seen a rifle. I don't get the point in that.

I only carry my rifle around when I'm driving my M1 Abrams.

So just to church and the grocery then, right?

There's a group in Texas that's been carrying to various public venues as some sort of protest. Chipotle recently announced they wouldn't allow it in their restaurants after one of those events happened there. That's apparently drawn the ire of various gun advocates.

^ What a waste. They do way more harm to the viewpoint they supposedly advocate than they could ever understand.

If I own a business, I better damn well be able to tell people they can't bring guns into my building.

It's idiots like these that help validate some peoples fears. No sensible reason for them to do it, just plain stupid.

My thoughts as well. Very counterproductive. And I don't blame Chipotle either. Crossing your fingers that the group of guys walking in carrying rifles are there to make a political statement and not to shoot anyone isn't exactly the ideal burrito experience.

...and the dentist.

One has been to Chipotle a lot.

You may want to disarm anyone before giving someone Nitrous Oxide LOL

Originally the NRA issued a release stating they opposed the antics but under pressure for Texas Open Carry recanted it. I wish they would have stood their ground.
