But when I went back to a fraternity reunion at the "Harvard of the South -aka Morehead State University", one of my beloved fraternity brothers told my step daughter the if it grew, I smoked it. Rolling Stone always keeps itself firmly planted in the mainstream, but in this issue they doubled down on it; you would think music stopped being country at about #10 on the Billboard charts.

McClinton Neko Case Lucinda Williams D.L. Mennard John Prine The Flatlanders What the heck?!? Several of these artists in your list are very, very good. You need to get out more.

Yeah that was the only one I could think of too, but I don't think of it as a top 25-50 song ever. Great story telling in the song and I am a sucker for songs like that but I can't put it in the top 25.
