Ok forget McCants, what about the former faculty member who was forced out after speaking out?

NCAAA has no guts to do anything to them. Probably didn't even investigate anything there.

I saw on the news that UNC has hired a special investigator to look into this

A UNC alum I assume ?

Nothing will happen because UNC won titles during these years in question, first during McCants last year there and then a few years later with a new group. Say if UNC had not won the title and had lost like Memphis did. Then I would be willing to bet there would be more made of this and would strip the final four away from them. However the NCAA seems to avoid doing anything to teams that had won the title, just like when Duke won it. This is not a bash Duke post. It was just an example if a team wins a title, then they have a better chance of not having something happen to them IMO.

So disappointing. Bunch of low down dirty cheaters. This would never happen at Duke.

NCAA is in a lose/lose situation with this one. No way you could ever prove the Williams knew about the cheating and he won't admit it. His amnesia is getting worse. If they investigate and cant prove anything when the world knows UNC is dirty, they lose. If they don't investigate every other school with an infraction will point to UNC and say their are being treated differently.

Only smoking gun would be certified copies of transcripts showing a class taken over the summer and passed, then one showing the same class was then moved to the fall term to raise players GPA to make him eligible.

IMO Duke has put so much pressure on NC to succeed they are in a succeed at all cost mode, or at least were when Roy Boy first got there.

I heard the best comment from a ESPN person. If ex players want to truly disprove Mccants accusations , just make your transcripts public. Sean May, any one, Bueller, Bueller.

It thought McCants published his. He had 38 classes from the African Studies program.

38 ?? Where they all 3 hour classes? WOW

It hit a dead end. NCAA said they couldn't investigate until UNC reported it. Ummmm that would be like a thief robbing someone then calling the cops to tell on himself. At least the Carolina Way is tarnished.

I read that on Twitter somewhere...that the NCAA says they can't investigate Academic Fraud until the school reports it...WOW :isurrender:
