May 28, 201412 yr I can't see OKC being a $2Billion Franchise, based on their short history of success. FWIW Clippers aren't worth that either, but a bidding war may get the price higher than worth

May 30, 201412 yr Owning a major pro sports franchise is one of the most elite "money" things that a wealthy person can do. With only around 100 of those spots and only a fraction of those that will become publicly available for sale during someone's lifetime, the price is inevitably going to end up being more than what the franchise would objectively be valued as being "worth" at that point in time.
