No. Not in the least. We have to keep in mind that all of us have probably had gay teammates and either they didn't know it yet (or hadn't accepted it yet), or they were just closeted.

 

I wouldn't act any differently, and no, I wouldn't be uncomfortable in the least.

I think you'd have to take clean and jerks out of your workout routine.

Seriously, I have mixed feelings about the topic. Is having a gay teammate in the locker room equivalent to having a female teammate in the locker room? If so, I'd walk around naked in front of her so I guess I'd probably do the same in front of him, as well. It's the locker room...where guys walk around naked. Doesn't bother me.

No issues. It's a common fear that straight people have, but it's really unfounded. Just because someone is gay, doesn't mean they are attracted to every guy, or want to have sex with every guy. And even if they did, it certainly doesn't mean they are going to attack, or molest anyone. At some point in every guys life, if they've spent anytime in a locker room, they've been naked in front of a homosexual.

I've been around several gay men throughout the years and I've never felt threatened or like I was about to be "attacked." Doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Now, whether or not I act on it is a different story. But I'm going to look. 100% guaranteed.

Yes I have. So many times that it just became part of the everyday routine, especially in college...just like going to practice. Didn't think anything of it.

Yea... I would definitely feel uncomfortable walking around naked. Not because I'd be afraid they'd attack or molest me like some people have implied, but just because it would make me self conscious and uncomfortable that they might be checking me out.

 

Much of that feeling is like what ColonelCrazy has stated about how he'd check out a girl who walked by him if she were naked.

 

I've also been in many locker rooms and have never walked around naked or done anything to prolong the amount of time I've been standing there naked either.

Part of our grade in high school gym class was showering after class. If you didn't shower (and check in with the teacher afterwards to prove you were wet....which I'm guessing is probably no longer a requirement, and sounds pretty odd when you think about it nowadays) you failed. And several of my classmates we either knew back then were gay, or have since come out. Never bothered us then, (although I have to admit I was a bit more homophobic back then) and it certainly doesn't bother me now.
