The way I heard it, they opened and were pretty successful for a few years, which is when the lease came up for renewal. Landlord tells tenants he's raising lease to a level suitable for a successful restaurant on Frankfort Avenue, restaurant closes. So it goes.
May 14, 201412 yr Thai place in Mt Adams is very good . cant remember name. I love me some mexican . From street vendors in Cozumel , or taco stands . Fresh grilled fish or shrimp , soft home made tortilla , fresh SPICY HOT Pico , with plenty of cilantro .
May 14, 201412 yr I have tried the BDubs Thai Curry sauce but it has been a few years ago, so I can't really vouch for its authenticity. Thai food is hot - not spicy - but the kind of hot that can make sweat bead on your forehead. Most of the heat in Thai food comes from chili peppers and many of the dishes, including the curries contain coconut milk as a main ingredient. Fish sauce is also a common and distinctive ingredient in Thai dishes that adds add salt to the food. I have seen Thai restaurant menus that warn that there will be no refunds if you order your food "hot." Depending on the restaurant, I stick with either "medium" or "hot" curries - I've never been tempted to order food "Thai hot." I like my taste buds working during my entire meal. Besides curries, noodle dishes (Pad Thai is the most popular), and stir fries are also very popular. Wild Ginger in Hyde Park has an outstanding array of Stir Frys. They also make a great Pad Thai, although I've personally never had it. Everyone who I've been with and orders it, loves it. Also a great sushi joint, if that flips your lid. note: it doesn't flip mine.

Chinese (shrimp with lobster sauce or beef with snow peas are probably my go to meals). 4. Mexican (fajitas [no tortillas], tacos, tamales, chips & salsa, love it all).

I could never talk him into going, so I never went. Seemed like it did OK business. When did it close?
