April 28, 201412 yr Author Texas doesnt have a state income tax if I recall correctly. Correct. They are also very aggressive in bringing out-of-state companies in. Gov Perry's job creation plan was built around increasing the # of jobs by bringing these companies in with incentives and then having ancillary jobs created.

April 29, 201412 yr We spent four days in the Dallas area about a week ago. A couple observations. Almost everywhere we went every thing looks new. They are building so many new highways that GPS can't keep up. I saw NO grafetti anywhere. If I was young and just starting out I would be giving that area a very serious look.
April 29, 201412 yr Airport ... Brent Spence Bridge ... N. Ky. is going to have a very hard time replacing these jobs. The toughest thing about this - there are very, very few companies that are as good a corporate citizen as Toyota. Witness - even though they are leaving the area, Toyota is going to donate millions to area charities after they leave.
