When will the Reds bite the bullet and move Votto to the NO. 2 spot?

Featured Replies

I know, "You don't pay a guy 20 mil plus per year to hit in the 2 spot. " I also know that your first baseman needs to bring power... It is time to be unchained by these notions. Votto is a number 2 hitter. He will not sacrifice a bad swing for an RBI. His power is beyond gone. Let's not be confined by these universal baseball laws and actually put the guy where he makes the line up better.

Not going to happen.

Sadly, I agree.

Votto batting .100 with runners on base and .318 with the bases empty so far this season

Does it really matter.. Seriously? Way too many holes in this line up (Luddy,Cozart, Frazier,Pitchers Spot, Hamilton)

I like Hamilton, Votto, Phillips, Bruce.

That would be the best way to go....Probably won't see it though.

Aside from the incredibly small sample size, if you would take a break from criticizing Votto for a second, you may see (logically) why that may be...
