Mowing?

Featured Replies

I mowed for the 1st time last Saturday and will do my 2nd mowing this Saturday. The pre work picking up leaves and limbs was a 2 day affair. I limed and did the weed & feed last fall then again about a month ago. My lawn is looking good and I do love the smell of newly mowed grass. The tulips, daffodils, primrose and hyacinth are up but my roses took a beating this winter. I just finished mulching around my shrubs yesterday but holding off mulching in my flower bed til the lilies come up. I put preen on all mulch and rock gardens. I used it last year and it did great cutting out the weeds. The trick is to put it on before the weeds start. I love this time of year!

My neighbor jumped on his mower as soon as he saw me out

yesterday as well.

Well after cutting grass for a living for 14 years, I don't have to anymore. Rock walls and decks have taken care of that, although I do miss it sometimes.........but NO, I'm not coming to your house to rekindle that feeling. :lol2:

Who's is faster? :lol2:

Mowed last Sunday and it looks like it needs it again.

Mowed April 2 two commercial accounts and my own. 2nd mowing yesterday. These lawns have quality soil and plenty of sunshine.

First mowing at home last year was March 3rd and commercial accounts March 10th.

I'm going to try to get to mine today for the first time this year.

Mowed for the first time this morning.

Lawnmower in the hands of an 6 year old is very dangerous.

The riding lawnmower is another piece of equipment that Mr. lawildcat won't let me operate.
Come south a few hours and you can get ALL the yard mowing experience you want.

Mowed today for the first time. Cost me 87 cents to get my riding mower going. :irked:

Anybody know who I could hire to clean up sticks, tree limbs and possibly use a chain saw to cut up some limbs that fell out of the top of my neighbor's small tree across a common fence into my yard, then haul it all away? Need someone in the Ft. Mitchell area. I'm physically unable to do this for myself. Sure would appreciate any suggestions on someone who would be reasonable.

Unfortunately mowed mine today, now that stupid grass will just grow faster.
