Believe it or not, before I logged on this morning I was pondering starting a thread dedicated specifically about "Likes" and as by product of that thread, a contest to see who could shamelessly generate a "Like" from Clyde.

 

For Example:

 

Clyde is the Man.

 

Clyde is the smartest guy that I've ever met.

 

There is an amazing wealth of information in that head of his.

 

It amazes me how knowledgeable he is on just about (what am I saying, just about?) EVERY TOPIC IMAGINABLE.

 

This is not sarcasm for real, for I mean this in all earnest.

 

I trust everything that he says as gold.

 

He's never been wrong about anything.

 

He deserves his own website called "Clyde-a-pedia.com", where each and every one of his posts is organized into specific and cross-referencing categories. It would certainly earn hits worldwide and rival, if not overtake, Wikipedia.

 

I've no doubt that he'd break the "Jeopardy Game Show" consecutive wins and totals $$$ record.

 

He manages to relay his amazing knowledge at a daily pace unparalleled to any human on planet earth, proven here by his number of posts.

 

This is in no way an attempt at earning a "Like" from Clyde, but I'll certainly "LIke" what I have said here if I could because it pleases me to award him these accolades because they are long overdue, and he truly deserves them, and I know that my me "Liking" my own post would be in no way an attempt for my own attention, but to ad emphasis to highlighting these comments that are truly only meant to give him the praise that he so very much has earned and deserves.

 

If there were a "BGP Hall of Fame", Clyde most certainly belongs there.

 

Clyde gets my vote to be there without hesitatin, and also my vote for him to be the final decision maker on who belongs in the Hall of Fame, for who else would know better than Clyde.

I'm not aware of this day being already taken by anything special, so now is as good of a time as any to kick it off. If it is already taken, I'm sure that Clyde would be the one who could tell us, but even if it is, and whatever it may be would pale by comparison in the importance of recognizing today as "Clyde's Day".

 

One single day might not even be appropriate for perhaps an entire year would be the only perfect answer. "International Clyde Appreciation Year".

bugatti has never given one single like. He's like Jay Bilas and how Bils won't follow anyone.

I don't think Clyde could like anyone's post because the doo doo has piled up so deep around him he can't get his hand to the mouse.

bugatti has given zero likes and Jim Schue has given 4 likes.

 

I used to have the goal of being the first to receive a like from bugatti. I kind of wanted one from Jim as well. However, I have since given up because I think they both take pride in not giving out likes.

 

McClizzers, on the other hand, is not a frequent liker-giver-outer, but he will give credit where it is due on occasion.

 

And yes, I did just give a serious analysis of like strategies on BGP. I am a loser.
