Right, I couldn't think of the other kid's name lol. They are going to be very tough for the next couple of seasons.

My son is a freshman there this year and the team is a good group of kids, very close. Drew will enjoy his time there!

I'd echo what has already been said about Centre. Top-notch coach and classy kids that play at a very impressive level. Great school and program.

Not being from Northwrn KY, I haven't seen this kid play. What type of player is he? Stats this year?

The last stats update the team did was 13.3 points and 7.0 rebounds. They had 5-6 games after that though.

Congrats to Drew.

Others have seen him play far more than I have, but I describe him as a banger. A true back-to-the-basket post player & he's hard to defend on the blocks. I believe he has become a more polished offensive player as the years have passed & I believe he'll continue to improve in that area. Needs to improve his free throw shooting & he often seemed to be in foul trouble, but I believe big Drew will be a solid basketball player for the Centre program.

Congrats to Drew & the Burns family. Great school with a good basketball program that will challenge him both on the court and in the classroom. Looking forward to following his career at the next level, as much as I enjoyed watching his progress in high school!!

Probably a good fit. Would think his perimeter game and handle would need to improve in college, no matter what level. Thought in the Montgomery County game, he looked extremely uncomfortable at the free throw line, have never seen any one shoot 2 air balls in one game from the charity stripe. Has their other big man signed anywhere?

Congrats to Drew. :thumb:

Congrats to Drew. Great young man and will do well at Centre.

Congratulations Drew!! Best of luck in Danville .. we'll be watching and rooting for you!
