Anyone in the district who would want it?

From what I have been told, Chris Stapleton from Mason County has been willing to accept it since Hinson declined it 3 weeks ago.

They had the man they wanted. Pursued him hard for a month. He's willing to take the position but requires a job in the system and the administration baulked on it at the last minute. Then they really don't have a plan B. Yeah the offered to a couple guys but everyone has saw how they did Hinson and no body will want to put themselves in that situation. IMO. Hind sight is 20/20 I know but I bet they wish they had not run off Persinger at this point.

Heard a position was offered to Hinson, all he had to do was finish his schooling, said no. To me, that's being as fair as you can be in this situation.

Had not heard that. Thanks for the info! :thumb:

100 % not true. He was only offered the Head basketball job. He was asked if going back to school was a option. Coach Hinson does have a bachelors degree and he told them he could not afford anymore tuition cost. From what I hear if BC wanted him bad enough they would make it happen. At this point I don't believe anyone wants the job. They have offered to 3 people and wanted all 3 to work outside the district.

I know Chris Stapleton of Mason County wants the job. He would not hesitate to accept the job if offered to him.

You say 100% not true but then go on to say the same thing I did.

You made it seem he was offered another job and wasn't. This is just a mess and Stapleton may be a great hire at this point!

Can't wait to hear the story behind what's taking so long to make this decision. Waiting for a teaching position to open?

And you make it sound like because he has a bachelors degree that means something. All that means is an aides position at an aides pay. You want to be paid like a teacher, that takes more schooling.
