California HS Championship Game Ends with Incredible Act of Sportsmanship | Bleacher Report

That's what sports is all about !! Your not human if that doesn't choke you up a little bit. What sportsmanship shown by the losing team!! Awesome

Love it!!!

Every once in a while I need a story like this to remind me that everything is not wrong in youth sports as I so often think. Great job for all involved. The young man and his family will NEVER forget this I am sure.

I believe I've said it before I believe. High school kids always seem to surprise with me with acts like this. Total class act by both the Desert Chapel coaches and players.

 

That one shot meant more to this young player than any championship game.. Awesome...

Class Act by Desert Chapel. It is hard to do when you wear your feelings on your sleeve and your getting beat that bad. Unselfish play. Pat on the back to the coach for calling timeout and setting that up as well.

Also touching to see the young man holding on to the ball at the end of the game, I suspect to give it to Beau when they shake hands.

Absolutely a testament to the kids and coaches at Desert Chapel. Bravo!!
