Do you think Scott Ruthsatz from Cov Cath will leave after this year? I have heard rumors that he was leaving? What do you think?

This is the year it would have to occur. He will have a son who will be a freshman in high school. Obviously Nick starts at Findlay. Could he be looking at upstate Ohio jobs, so he can get to the Findlay games easier? He has a lot of kids who play ball. He will be spread thin wherever he is or goes.

Stay or go. You know he will do what is best for his family. As it should be!

His Sandusky Ohio roots are only a short ride from Findley. Maybe he lands back there so he can watch his boy every game. Is he still involved with the chemical company he once owned? Maybe he becomes more involved with that. Seems he might have some options out there.

If so, who would be in line for that job? Aric Russell?

I think this job could land many quality coaches. IDK if Aric would leave CC after his third year, but if Cov Cath comes calling, it would be hard to pass up. I would think it would have to be someone willing to take a pay cut.

I have no clue on what Scott's plans are. I hope he stays. He's a strong coach.

HOWEVA, if he left there is no doubt pay will, as it always does in Catholic schools, limit the pool of candidates.

I think Ruthsatz stays at CovCath. He has his kids coming up thru the system and probably wants the opportunity to coach them as well. Findlay is a relatively short drive up 75 and with the way the GLIAC conference schedules with a little help from his AD at CovCath he can make quite a few games on Findlays conference schedule.

If he left, I wonder if Code from Brossart would be considered?....Solid coach, and he and Rowe have worked together previously.

If he leaves, we can thank him and wish him the best. He has revitilized the program in the last three years. It is now ran like a college or a St Anthony's, from game film to conditioning to preparation.

If he stays, he has a monster 7th and 8th grade class coming, along with the Frosh and JV champs. Looks like bright days ahead at CCH!

Does assitant coach, Tony Baccagulpo (sp) teach at Cov Cath now? Maybe he is being groomed for the job? Interesting as this came up in conversation yesterday at the game. He does a very nice job with the kids and once was head coach at the Grove.

I think the question should be phrased would Code from Brossart consider the job???

A bigger question is if Scott would leave who would replace Nolin on the "Rollin with Nolin" show????

Yes, he left here for a teaching position. He would be a good choice.

I wasn't aware until just recently that he started his career as a teacher.
