Bank of Kentucky (9th Region Tourney) upcoming parking "fiasco"!!!

Featured Replies

I've just been informed that Saturday and Sunday there will be a big club soccer tourney taking place ALL DAY, both days.

Parking will be at a "Premium", happy hunting boys and girls.

Thank God, my Media Pass gets me free reserved parking.

What time should I be at your house? (and will you show me your bedroom?)

Media Pass? How many darn passes do you have?

And I do have a question about parking. During the DH/CCH and Holmes/NCC doubleheader, to park in the BOKC garage you had to enter from US27. Is that still the case for this tournament?

As a member of the media, will you still be wearing a NCC hat on "press row"?

Better not be!

I don't think that it will be too terrible. This is the Kings Turf classic thing. They can only play one game on that field, so you're looking at most 4 teams and parents coming and going each hour. That parking garage is pretty large.

On top of that, the tourney is tonight and tomorrow, largely, with only the championships on Sunday. I know both Kings teams have a game tonight and two games tomorrow. Shouldn't be too bad.

I've got 2 parking passes @ Hampton Farms that are up for rent that day! About 4 minutes :walk: time from there to BOK arena. 12 pack of Mich Ultra, per pass!

Not bad thought, for several reasons.

Can't be any worse than a full schedule of night classes going on at the same time which happened last year during the Boys first round. NKU flat ran out of parking. Cars were sent from lot to lot only to find every lot full.

:ylsuper:Go to Skyline bar and hammer a couple down real quick, tip the bartender good and tell her you'll be back in 4 hours.

Lawnboy has offered to shuttle BGP'ers to Bok up to 10 minutes before tip!:ylsuper:

Are you covering this for BGP, or do you work for a media outlet? That is a cool perk you have, congratulations.
