Lawnboy13 Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 The following link has the Top 8 from ever region as well. Ballard, Trinity 1-2 going into region play | Fields Notes
Lawnboy13 Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 Didn't NCC just beat Trinity not to long ago? 2-18-14 NewCath 45 Trinity 44
BIG BLACK JACK Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Man did BG come off the radar to become 4th region favorites.
PurplePride92 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 4 teams from the 12th. 3 in the top 12. Interesting.
First Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Not bad. And not the first time this year. West Jessamine was there earlier in the season.
Lionsfan12 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Cordia has beaten Perry Central, Warren Central, and Hazard (twice). They also just lost to Knott Central by 2 but had them down by as many as 17! Oh well!
thsrocks Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 2-18-14 NewCath 45 Trinity 44 I would say NewCath's losses to Ballard (by 18), PRP, and Lafayette hurt their ranking more than the one point win over Trinity helps their rating. Trinity's in-state losses are to Ballard twice (by 11 and 2), Scott County (by 5) and NewCath. Trinity also defeated Lafayette twice and PRP.
gold sunrise Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 No montgomery county?? What I was thinking.....:idunno:
jahearme Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 What is Cantrell's real job? I hope he doesn't lose it, because he does a pathetic job at ranking basketball teams.
mexitucky Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I would say NewCath's losses to Ballard (by 18), PRP, and Lafayette hurt their ranking more than the one point win over Trinity helps their rating. Trinity's in-state losses are to Ballard twice (by 11 and 2), Scott County (by 5) and NewCath. Trinity also defeated Lafayette twice and PRP. NewCath beat PRP by 17 a week later. Rankings don't matter anyway. NewCath was #1 in the state in '01 and didn't make it out of the region.
