Man did BG come off the radar to become 4th region favorites.

4 teams from the 12th. 3 in the top 12. Interesting.

Not bad. And not the first time this year. West Jessamine was there earlier in the season.

Cordia has beaten Perry Central, Warren Central, and Hazard (twice). They also just lost to Knott Central by 2 but had them down by as many as 17! Oh well!

I think this ranking is poop.

I would say NewCath's losses to Ballard (by 18), PRP, and Lafayette hurt their ranking more than the one point win over Trinity helps their rating. Trinity's in-state losses are to Ballard twice (by 11 and 2), Scott County (by 5) and NewCath. Trinity also defeated Lafayette twice and PRP.

Once again these ratings are terrible.

What is Cantrell's real job?

I hope he doesn't lose it, because he does a pathetic job at ranking basketball teams.

I would say NewCath's losses to Ballard (by 18), PRP, and Lafayette hurt their ranking more than the one point win over Trinity helps their rating. Trinity's in-state losses are to Ballard twice (by 11 and 2), Scott County (by 5) and NewCath. Trinity also defeated Lafayette twice and PRP.

 

NewCath beat PRP by 17 a week later. Rankings don't matter anyway. NewCath was #1 in the state in '01 and didn't make it out of the region.
