The Raiders are playing with great confidence during the current 7-game win streak. Coach DMac's goal all year was to have them ready for war by the districts and region. That has been accomplished. In spite of CovCath being the obvious favorite, a tight game and/or upset is certainly possible.

I'm with AME, CovCath has a chip on their shoulder and I think you'll see their best effort. Ryle deserves great respect for being here, and their players and coaches deserve a lot of credit for peaking late, but their best isn't as good as CovCath's best.

I attended the first game and it was close for 3 quarters when CCH pulled away. There are two improvements that Ryle needs to make to have a puncher's chance. Stuhr has to be a factor on the post, I believe he had 4 points the first time they played. He has to take advantage of his size to try to get Schuh and Schult in foul trouble. Number 20 (Ryle fans help me with a name) has the potential to be monster, plays great D, jumps out the gym, and has long range. They do not seem to go him in the games that I've seen.

 

You are not going to catch CCH sleeping after last night, they win by 16+.

Just spent the last few hours in the Houston airport with Will Stur's Dad.

The one and only upset of the tourney. Ryle by 3 provided they minimize their turnovers and utilize Stuhr. They match up everywhere fairly evenly except at the PG position IMO.

I'm with Mr. Sixer and JamesSr, I think Ryle wins this game versus CCH in a big upset. I think Ryle is hitting their stride at the right moment, and honestly, I'm just not sure how good this CovCath team really is.

 

Either way, I think NCC beats the winner of this game easily in the semifinals.

I think the Colonels will win but do not predict a blow out. If I had to pick the most likely game for a 9th Region Round 1 upset, this would be it.

Is the double OT game impacting everyone this much? Wow?! Ryle will have to play exceptionally well and catch CovCath a little flat -- and I can't imagine that will happen.
