Congrats on the GC win! Maybe next time Steiner will re-think sending his assistant coaches out to scout during a district game. Hopefully for his sake....his coaches were scouting a team that Won their district since SK is going to be playing a district winner. Karma bits! :lol2:

No sour grapes here, Grant outplayed SK tonight in the first quarter and that got the Pioneers beat. Congrats to Coach Grammar and his staff. It was a hard fought game and both teams had their chances. However, the game was called very inconsistently. If I were Steiner, I would make sure I never saw any of the three again. The crew passed on an intentional foul at the end of regulation that was the best tackle I have seen all year. Then they call a cheap technical in OT when two players are fighting for a rebound? Tough to swallow.

I watched on IHIGH and it looked like the SK player intentionally threw an elbow before being called for a T. Very risky pass near the end of regulation that allowed GC to get a steal and layup. From the computer screen all the charges looked legitimate.

Sure there were some questionable calls but kudos to Grant for pulling it out after three players fouled out. I'm not sure Grant's coach wanted a three point shot up by one with 30 seconds left but Johnson pulled the trigger and that was basically the game. Hicks is a nice player, I thought he was the former HC's son but I guess I was incorrect about that. Mullins was a bear, I love the kids game, I see big thing for him next season.

To me it seemed like Kuntz was worried about the possibility of a backcourt violation as he attempted to catch the pass. In that situation I don't think you want your passer to toss the ball towards mid-court.

I think you're right.

On a throw-in though there is no "over and back" so the receiver of the pass should not worry about where his feet land.

Congrats to the Braves. However, there is no real reward for winning the district since the two top teams (Collins and South) both lost. The draw could be very tough for the opening round.

Is this a sign of a strong or weak region????

Winning the district is great but by doing so they may have a worse draw.
