Reds Extend Homer - 6 Years $100 Million

Featured Replies

Good signing. Castellini continues to show his commitment to winning. I expect Bailey to have a breakout year.

I hope so, but many times after getting "Paid" guys aren't quite as driven to excel.

This is a contingency plan incase they can't resign Latos. Don't know if I agree with the dollars but it's not a bad idea

I sure hope not.

True but lets hope he tries to "make them proud" of the contract. I also hope Bailey becomes a little more involved around the city and with the team.

As gametime mentioned earlier, if Latos price is 150+ million it will be hard to sign him regardless.

49-45, 4.25 ERA

16.6 million is a lot for that

Matt Cain was 69-73 when he got his deal from the Giants and it was for more money per year.

Base runners steal Bailey blind. He is not fundamentally sound in all areas of pitching. $100 mil?, yea right.

Crazy as well

It would be nice for him to do some community involvement but I have seen him out a few times and he's pretty approachable. Or atleast he was for me.

All those #s prove is that Bailey is better than Arroyo, thus he should be making more....[/QUO
