February 1, 201412 yr I did a little searching. It isn't the content of the commercial, it is the use of a mixed race couple in this series of ads. I'm not clear if there was really a controversy, or if they just told the kids in this video that there was a controversy to get their reaction. February 1, 201412 yr There was such an immediate negative response to the ad from a small group that they had to shut down the respond to comment section. The ad proved to be very successful regardless of the negative responses. I've seen 70 + year old racists ask for forgiveness and love on "folks" deemed…….based on prior stereotypes. Amazing concept what people buy into until they're sitting across from what they were told to fear. And then after an hour ask me for their number. Barriers disappear and bridges are made when people have an open heart and open mind…..and learn the value of what they should have learned in kindergarden-treat people the way you'd like to be treated. I am very thankful to two great parents who passed this concept on to me. And very thankful to a very diverse network of friends who support one another on many levels unconditionally. Hats off nWo and thank you for bringing this to light!
February 1, 201412 yr Author My youngest son and his wife are a interracial couple. They have 4 beautiful kids. I love her to death and I consider her my daughter not just a daughter in law.
