On youtube the first commercial, where the father was laying on the couch, had the comments section closed. Then you should read some of the comments on youtube about this one. just one of them: brwnyes56 4 hours ago Honestly, I don't like the commercial. I would have preferred black couple or white couple - A Real Family. Bi-Racial Couples - no matter what Races they are - are not real families.

February 1, 201412 yr Author Just shows no matter how much progress is said that this country has made in race relations it still has a long way to travel. Travel to a destination that it will never reach. Total equality and acceptance by everyone.
February 1, 201412 yr IMO the intolerant need to be ignored and marginalized, don't give their hate-speak the light of day. The more some ignorant statement or reaction is reported and reacted to the more life it is given. In this case I think someone is trying to make a controversy where there should be one

You completely misconstrued the meaning of my post. It is controversial because of the believes of some of the people who make those comments.

Ok, I just struggle with something being termed controversial when it's such a small percentage doing their thing. Every issue has it's nutjobs and when something has 87% approving of it I don't see it as controversial. To me the controversial part is that we still have 13% nutjobs in the country.
