UK and UL seem today like teams that if you stripped their name from their resume they'd be looked at differently in the room.

UK is safe for now but if they lost at Missouri and drop one at home against Ole Miss, they are in danger.

Is Louisville in any danger of missing the NCAA Tournament at this point?

Not yet... But they are headed that way.

Sell me on their season this far.

Good wins over Providence, Louisville and Tennessee. No really bad losses yet.

Kentucky is the definition of a bubble team IMO. Louisville is right there with them too.

Here's Louisville:

Kentucky is a lock for now.

Key words.

There's no question that they are at a crossroads.

UL has the same record and ranking as they did this time last season. Generally teams that are going to make a run normally catch their stride within the next week or two.

Good win by UC. Their defense is impressive. Kilpatrick was clutch with all the free throws at the end. I haven't gotten to watch a ton of UC games but to me (right now) I still don't think they are a top ten team from what i've seen. But, they are 20-2 and keep winning, so maybe I'm underestimating them.

Their defense alone makes them very deserving of their ranking, IMO. That will keep them in a lot of games, and as last night proves, their first half performance won them that game.

I didn't say they weren't deserving of their ranking. I said I still don't think they are a top ten team, as in I believe that there are at least ten teams better than them. Their ranking (which might be top 10 soon) is justified based on what they've done this year. It's just my personal opinion that they are not one of the best 10 teams, not that they don't deserve to ranked there if/when they do.

This team doesn't get punched in the face well. No teams really do, but last year's team would take a punch then hit you back with a 4-punch combo. This team simply isn't capable of it.

They'll continue to paste bad teams, beat decent teams and lose to good teams unless something happens. That's enough to get into the tournament. It's not enough to get past the Round of 32.
