Matt Jones and KSR were invited to the announcement and they have them seated right next to Elam's table, it would be a little awkward if he chose Bama. I am just glad he is making a decision, it has been drawn out.

That pretty much locks up UK, IMO.

That's what I'd be thinking if I were him. Go to Bama, and if it doesn't work, transfer to UK. They would take him.

Yep.

That pretty much locks up UK' date=' IMO.[/quote']

Odd to spend most of the morning with Bama coaches though.

I hope he picks UK, but I wouldn't blame him if he chose Alabama. Saban gets guys to the next level like no other.

True; then again it doesn't hurt that 3 former UK players will be playing in the Super Bowl this weekend. Alabama may have even more than that, but it isn't shabby at all that UK has three.

And truthfully, much like where you play in high school has little impact on whether you get a D1 scholly, where you play college ball doesn't have much of an impact on whether you get to play in the NFL. The power house college teams have more players in the NFL not because those players went to the power house colleges but rather because the athletes with NFL potential generally tend to choose the power house programs.

From a comment he made...I think it's Ala. No public, just media invited...which leads me to believe Ala as well.

Any live video?

I haven't followed it very close but something tells me he picks UK.

I haven't either, but I feel like the more time he's taken with this thing, the more likely it is he stays home. No reasoning for that, just my feeling on it.

Did not know that. Makes me think the same.

Only reason I'd hope for Bama is to see Matt Jones duped, would love to hear his rant.

Yep, that's what I heard on the radio this morning. He also made a comment to the effect that he "hopes everyone understands his decision" and he has to do "what's best for him". Couple that with no public invited...and he's headed for Tuscaloosa.

Any live video?

WLEX18 says they are carrying it live.

I'm picking he says Bama based off of BigVMan's info.

You're right about the players in the Super Bowl. Alabama only has 2 to Kentucky's 3.

Alabama had 9 players taken in the 2013 NFL Draft, 5 of those were linemen. Kentucky had one player taken. It matters. If I'm an NFL scout and I have a choice to attend a practice of either Alabama or Kentucky. Where do you think I'm going?
