Campbell County 83 Augusta 67

Bach and Holbrook each have 26. Wilson and Jackson both have 23 for Camels. Very nice alley oop dunk by Wilson.

Nice win for the Camels. Jackson and Holbrook really seem to have it going offensively, and Wilson has been coming along very nicely from what I have seen.

Your thoughts on them contending for the region in the 10th?

Congratulations to the Camels. They looked much better tonight, moving the ball and attacking the basket. They need to start feeding Wilson earlier in the game. Wilson had a big second half. The OOP was sweet!

CC isn't chopped liver. Should come out of the 37th and could make some noise at the Fieldhouse.

Matt Wilson has had a really good year for Campbell County.

I'm a big fan -- I don't think he gets enough credit. He is a really solid post player and will only get better.

Agree on all counts. He might be the best player in the 10th next year.

Augusta gets down 15 at the half with CC shooting the lights out for 16 minutes. Augusta cut the lead to 5 early in the 4th quarter but Wilson's size was too much to contend with down the stretch. CC has 7 kids that can contribute, they play under control and don't turn the ball over much. A very solid team A-Z. They have size, ball handlers, shooters and discipline so I wouldn't look past them.

I agree 100%. Matt has worked his tail off to get where he is. Really a great kid and has an incredible work ethic. He's put on some muscle and his jumping ability has improved tremendously and his shot has improved and let's not forget he's only a sophomore. I watched him last summer in some AAU ball and he's come along way just in one year. Keep working hard Matt the Camel faithful are proud of you. :thumb:

Was able to get out and watch the Brent Bach show. Bach started out a little slow. Was impressed by Bachs attitude, was getting face guarded the majority of the game. He kept his cool and allowed the game come to him. If i was a coach, I would foul Bach any time he had a layup. The kid to be a decent shooter, really struggles at the free throw line. I think it may be a mental thing with him.

Camels are a solid team. Have 3 really solid players. I feel like they are one player fromm being a serious, serious contender in the 10th. Dre Jackson impressed me the most. That kid looks like a baby, gotta feeling he may not be done growing. He shot it well and was very active on the boards. I could be wrong on this one, but I feel like Wilson will struggle against most people anywhere near his size. He dominated the 6'2'' Augusta center in the second half. Wilson does have incredible athleticism and size. His senior year he may be a force to contain. Kinda reminds me of Giesler that was at NCC.

Wilson had 18 points and 12 boards against Brossart and their senior big men..... Augusta guarded Holbrook and Jackson the same way. They had someone in their shorts all night too.

Bach only had 8pts in the 1st half with Campbell County sending several defenders at him. He was more active in the 2nd half with 18 2nd half points; and he did struggle a bit from the free throw line. Holbrook and Jackson dominated the 1st half scoring both inside and out. Holbrook had 15 and Jackson 19 in the 1st half. Wilson was scoreless in the 1st half. Augusta came out in a triangle and 2 to start the 3rd quarter (on Holbrook and Jackson) and Campbell County started pounding it inside. Wilson finished strong with 23 including a nice alley oop dunk from Dre Jackson late in the 4th. When the "trio" is on Campbell is tough. If they can tighten up a bit on defense, they can be dangerous.

Bach is traditonally a good free-throw shooter. Any shortcomings he presently has are temporary, I'm sure.

Put him on the line, and in the long run he will make you pay.
