What a fun time! I hate I didn't get to talk more to #fatjason, spindoc and doomer. They are such super nice people! One of my personal BGP mysteries was solved...I now know who thsrocks is and loved getting to chat with him! Oh...and Hellbird doesn't look like Satan, as I imagined he would. Plantman's thumbs are NOT green! BigVMan is VERY tall! Thanks to nkucbaseball for doing the updates! You ROCK! Wish I could have talked more to NKYPete, but he was at the other end of the table. Next time for sure! CWB is a DELIGHT and soooooo funny!

 

As always, Bert and Getslow and Jim Shue are great company that always I enjoy seeing and wish I got to see more of!

 

And lastly, Mrs doomer and Mrs Spindoc are stunning ladies, and I wish I'd spent more time to get to do more than just meet them.

 

BTW, Bert...I know you and BigVMan liked the Scotch Eggs, but I'm glad I stuck to my rib eye sandwich (which is why I didn't get to spend more time talking to people)

 

Thanks to all who made it, and I can't wait to see you all again and meet even more of you at a future get together!

I am back home now. I know the updates weren't very in depth or very often but we wanted to leave you all in suspense of what actually happened... :sssh:

 

It was really great to meet all of the people that attended! I didn't get to speak to everyone (Bert, spindoc, getslow, doomer, jim schue) but atleast I can put a face to a name now and we'll have to catch up at future events. As for the ones I did get to speak to, it was great conversation!

 

Special thanks to Hellbird for the ride! I had a great time talking to you and wish your son nothing but the best! And I'm sure we will catch up at games this year.

I had a great time meeting the living legends of BGP! In my last conversation, I was taking notes on how NOT to get suspended on BGP! Thank goodness nkuclubbaseball19 was doing the updates, because I was happy to be in tuned to all the interesting conversations.

Just got home. Wow! What a great bunch of people!!!! I learned that spindoc and doomed out kicked their coverage, your wives are not only very nice bit beautiful women to boot. It was so much fun finally getting to put faces with names on here. I wish I would of got to talk with PP92 more but was deep in conversation with BigV and NKY and nkuclubbaseball that it was hard to get around to everyone.

 

Rockmom, my new secret crush, was awesome and I learned she has a memory like an elephant and not to debate her when she's hungry....just a warning to others lol. She was awesome as was everyone I met today. Small world, it seems Colonels wear Blue grew up around 100 feet from my house lol. Great guy and thanks for getting this thing together. BigV I think is my long lost twin brother.....fraternal not identical, he is 10 feet tall...Bert what a great guy. Everyone was so much fun to be around. I'm ready for the next one!!!!!! Can't even think about trying one of those scotch testicles or whatever they were called......not going there.

That or organize my own get-together... But let's be real, that'll never happen.

I had a great time and like Hellbird and Rockmom said I wish I would have been able to talk with them more. Great conversation all the way around with everyone and definitely an enjoyable day. It was great putting faces with names and adding a bunch more to my list of BGPers that I have met. I'm already looking forward to the next get together.

Extra bummed that I missed this. Stupid neighbor. The car was finally moved at about 5:30... Hopefully I can catch the next one.

Great to add a whole bunch of good folks to list, and great to see old friends as well!

 

I'm definitely down to host a Bourbon City gathering in the summer if folks wanna come this way. Go get your distillery tour thang on then come over for drinks and BBQ!
