January 23, 201412 yr I actually thought back in the day that Tennille was one of those hot older chicks. Not sure what Captain brought to the party. Women love a man in uniform even if it's only a Captain's hat! :idunno:
January 23, 201412 yr Author Carly was the female version of Jagger, orally speaking. Just curious, is there an actual percentage of teeth that is considered "normal" in a smile? Seems like the three mentioned here (plus, maybe Julie Roberts) have all "overachieved" in that regard. :lol2:
January 23, 201412 yr I remember watching their variety show. In the 70's, everyone had a variety show. Anyone remember Shields and Yarnell? For some reason, I thought that was entertaining. But what did I know. I was just a kid.

January 24, 201412 yr Went to a Price is Right taping in fall of 2012, no I wasn't called on stage, but I was on camera for a few fleeting moments. Anyhoo, there was a couple in front row dressed very similar to Captain & Tennille, sure it wasn't intentional as I believe they were only in their 20's. Well, during breaks while they would set up for the next game, Drew would talk to the crowd and pointed them out. Drew asked guy in booth to play some Captain & Tennille, sure enough Love Will Keep Us Together was played, Drew and entire audience sang along. It was quite the experience to say the least. :lol2:
January 24, 201412 yr "Tennille, 73, filed for divorce from Dragon, 71, in Arizona on Jan. 16 Man, that's old...!
January 24, 201412 yr Muskrat Love might be one of the worst songs ever recorded. Big Daddy's "Hamster Love" is much better. I miss Dr. Demento.
January 24, 201412 yr Muskrat Love might be one of the worst songs ever recorded. Somebody in satellite radio land must have a sense of humor because I just heard that song over the intercom at Kroger.
