Good list, but I'm going to argue for the Howard kid from Ludlow. If he played for a better team he would be getting all kinds of recognition. He is better than several you have listed.

A player can be overrated because of his supporting cast.

I would have every kid you mention ahead of Bo. He needs to show consistency and a better offensive game.

I have only seen NCC and Dixie from the 9th, but I'm surprised Pangallo hasn't been mentioned. I though he was their second best player in the two games I watched.

I love Pangallo's game. If he was strictly a 2 guard, he would be listed in the top 10, IMO.

 

He is a very unselfish player though so simply runs the team and does what is asked of him. He will be in the top 10 next year. His pull up jumper is almost automatic. Very smooth and pure. Good quickness as well at both ends.

Of these, I would just state that Schreck is the only one that I believe we have not seen the best of yet. He has been playing on a team with a proven D1 caliber talent, who everyone knows is going to get the vast majority of the touches (rightfully so). Shreck is a player that can/will do it all, and to be honest, he has the ability to be a hybrid-type point guard. He see's the floor well, rebounds, takes care of the basketball, can get to the basket with his length (6'3ish, long arms)... he also doesn't shy away from playing good aggressive defense, and his mid-range and 3 point game are coming around. He is only, and will only, get better in my opinion (probably biased, but I see, coach, and watch a lot of talent). He still has a way to go in all area's, but who doesn't....

 

Come watch him play over the summer and you'll see the same player you see now, except he runs the point more often and does a great job of making his team better. Total team player.

Agree. Pangallo is a very nice player. Quick and deceptively strong as well to what you mentioned. Another player that we haven't seen the best of.

:ylsuper:I agree 100%. Jared Howard can flat out play.

Zack is a "victim" of understanding the game and having a great team around him. If this was a different year for NewCath, he'd be averaging around 16ppg and 5 assists. As it is, the team moves the ball so well that he doesn't have to dominate the ball. Therefore, he doesn't. He does what it takes for the offense to run smooth and win games.

A few players off the top of my head who I think should be considered:

 

Schuh -CovCath

Noble - St Henry

Howard - Ludlow
