Broncos 26 Patriots 16

Manning threw for 400 yards.

The home team continues to hold serve in the playoffs when Peyton and Brady meet.

So happy for Boyle County's Jacob Tamme and the other Kentucky Wildcats going to the Superbowl!!!!!

I guess. I can't reay count this one again Brady. IMO it's a miracle they were even there!

I don't put it on Brady either, but the fact remains that the home team has won all four of their playoff meetings. Brady did miss two huge opportunities in the first half that might have changed the flow of the game. But for the most part they simply didn't have the weapons. They needed to gash Denver's weak point, their defense, and they couldn't until it was well too late.

They only really "Gashed it" so to speak when the Broncos went with 3 Down and 8 DBs.

Manning threw for 400 yards.

First time a Bill B. defense has given up 400 passing yards.

Oops. Not correct.

It's funny that the Patriots can lose and it's "not on Brady" but had the Broncos lost all we'd be talking about is how it's on Manning.

Brady hasn't won a Super Bowl in over 10 years. Brady is great but he also had a lot of help in those Super Bowl wins and he didn't exactly dominate those games. Plus one playoff run he was injured during the playoffs and didn't Bledsoe come in and win a game and then Brady started the Super Bowl?

Sometimes I think Brady gets too much of a pass for what he accomplished early on but not all credit should go to him for those wins IMO.

Compare the weapons each team had this game! Pats over-achieved this year in a major way. No one expected Pats to get this far without Hernandez, Gronk, Wolfork, Mayo, Spikes, etc.

Whereas Peyton had every weapon imaginable. Only major injuries they had to deal with was Miller's ACL and Clady going out early in the year.

So you're dang right if Peyton only scored 26 and a lot of the blame would be on him, but a lot also on the D if it allowed 26+ to Brady and the replacements.

Very happy for Manning and glad he played well. Really looking forward to watching him in two weeks.

Broncos D was missing half of their starters from last game against the Pats too...so it's not exactly like Brady and the Pats were going against the "Steel Curtain" or "Doomsday D"...Brady missed 4 or 5 throws badly that on a good day he makes...seemed to do a bad job all day picking up what the D was doing and getting the Pats in the right play.

Always a good day when the Patriots lose.

Happy for the Broncos and the UK kids that play for them.

-Jacob Tamme with his first playoff TD catch.

-Danny Trevathan led the Broncos in tackles with 8.

-Wesley Woodyard had a couple of big plays.

I thought Brady looked very average today. Glad to see Peyton move on, much to the chagrin of one James Schue.
