January 20, 201412 yr I thought Brady looked very average today. Glad to see Peyton move on' date=' much to the chagrin of one James Schue.[/quote'] Easy to look average when you have a mediocre to average team around you. Pats were overachievers this season IMO. Brady wasn't really Brady this year but yet again he proved he could do more with less than any QB in the league. I guess having The hoody helps, but QBs get a lot of credit.
January 20, 201412 yr Always a good day when the Patriots lose. Happy for the Broncos and the UK kids that play for them. -Jacob Tamme with his first playoff TD catch. -Danny Trevathan led the Broncos in tackles with 8. -Wesley Woodyard had a couple of big plays. And the guy that help get them on the Broncos Anthony "Champ" Kelly the former Wildcat who works as the assistant director of game day operations for Denver.
January 20, 201412 yr And Giselle can still be heard blaming the recievers for her hubby's horrible performance.
January 20, 201412 yr It's funny that the Patriots can lose and it's "not on Brady" but had the Broncos lost all we'd be talking about is how it's on Manning. Brady hasn't won a Super Bowl in over 10 years. Brady is great but he also had a lot of help in those Super Bowl wins and he didn't exactly dominate those games. Plus one playoff run he was injured during the playoffs and didn't Bledsoe come in and win a game and then Brady started the Super Bowl? Sometimes I think Brady gets too much of a pass for what he accomplished early on but not all credit should go to him for those wins IMO. That was all on Brady, he was horrible just like his last SB where he couldn't hit the side of a barn yet his wife blamed his recievers for the loss. Brady cost his team any chance at winning with his overthrows to wide open recievers for TD's
January 20, 201412 yr I guess. I can't reay count this one again Brady. IMO it's a miracle they were even there! Why? You can believe it if the Pats won he'd be getting all the credit. He sucked yesterday.
January 20, 201412 yr Well that sucked. I knew as soon as Talib went down early, it was going to take a Herculean effort by the D and Brady to get the win, and unfortunately, both played one of their poorest games of the season. Disappointed they didn't win, but happy with the way the season went. If you had told me at the beginning of the year that this team would be sans Gronk or Hernandez, have Thompson and Dobson in and out of the lineup all year, have Amendola miss a big chunk of games, have Ridley basically become an after-thought in the backfield, and have Vereen out for half the season, not to mention the likes of Wilfork, Spikes, Mayo, Kelly, and Vollmer all on IR, I'd have happily taken a wild card. The fact they went 12-4, and advanced to the AFC Championship game is remarkable IMO. If they can get the majority of these guys back healthy, and shore up the secondary a bit, I think they'll be a (Blunt) force to be reckoned with next season.
January 20, 201412 yr They had a hell of a season UKMF and nothing for them to hang their heads about. Injury bug bit them about as bad as it could to a team.
