January 10, 201412 yr Brohm just may be the next UL coach in a few years. WKU will give him an excellent opportunity to gain more experience, establish a winner before B. Petrino blows it at UL, embarrassing the school and leaving either by his choice or the UL administration's order. Brohm will do a very good job at WKU, I wish him and the Hilltoppers well :thumb:. (unless they play U.K. and I think that's fair )

January 10, 201412 yr I put two kids through Western. Both got their degrees. Being a Trinity grad, I hope Jeff does a great job. I just wish that Brady could live with Grandma and Grandpa in Louisville. Best of luck Jeff.
January 10, 201412 yr Nice hire. Congrats to Coach Brohm. Well deserved…WKU won't miss a beat and I'm looking forward to their continued success!
January 10, 201412 yr Agree with everything you said in this post except the bolded. Petrino won't retire from Louisville. Maybe when Petrino quits then Jeff will land the job. He will IMO leave for another bigger job someday. I think Petrino thinks he has some unfinished business to take of and he's not going to fulfill it coaching a team playing in the American Conference. He has done it before and what makes you think he is not going to do it again. Hopefully Louisville didn't make Bobby raise his right hand and promise not to ever leave the program for greener pastures again. Cause it will happen.... UofL won't be in the American next year. January 11, 201412 yr The best way to judge a nan is by his history. By looking at Petrino's history you do see wins but then all you see is a liar, slimeball and/or both. luck, I am thrilled that U.L. has Petrino, by the man's history it's not "if" but "when" he will "pull a Petrino" . Everyone thought a few of us were crazy when saying that he was leaving the first time at U.L., blasted anyone that did, "OH No....he has integrity, gave his word....etc.,etc.." . As I said on another post. It's all on Jurich / U.L. - should Petrino continue with his scumbag ways.....they deserve it.

Based on that "logic" I guess UK will be returning their champonship trophy soon. Sent from my SCH-I405 using Forum Runner

January 14, 201412 yr Brohm will not coach at UL when (or if) he leaves WKU. After being raided by an instate school for its head coach, Western put a no compete clause in Brohm's contract. He can not leave Western and go to an in state school.
