I can't understand people complaining about forecasters based on people getting worked up when bad weather is forecasted. Shouldn't you be complaining about the people getting worked up? If people flood Walmart and buy up all the bread and milk whose fault is that? Did forecasters hold a gun to those people's head? Did the bread and milk producers? Grocery store owners? Funny I don't see anyone taking shots at the forecasters for nailing the temps today, and that was predicted 10 days ago. Also pretty sure they were dead on with the snow we got on Dec 6th.

I was SO praying they'd be wrong about these temps..practically ready to sacrifice my first and second born...:cry:

In my experience, the local weathermen have done a pretty good job with the temperatures.

I'm in the same boat as PP92 where I only use my phone for weather. ( But mine is a Samsung so it's better :lol:) This may already be in place but I don't lose sleep over weathermen accuarcy, but couldn't you just calculate each weatherman's accuaracy rate and compare that to the competition? If I were the employer I'd want the more accurate guy and advertise that face against the other channels.
