Not trying to be cheeky here, but what about UK's history with Petrino could possibly make you excited to see him on an opposing sideline? His record against UK (at multiple schools) is pretty impressive.
January 8, 201412 yr He messed up. No doubt about it. Embarrassing, bad for the school, all that. I'm not going to act like I care about that, though. Very few people haven't done anything they aren't proud of, including myself. I don't hold Pitino's mistake against him, I wouldn't hold Petrino's against him. As long as whoever the replacement is wins games and doesn't cheat, I couldn't care less about what they do on their own time, as long as it doesn't affect the job. They didnt win an SEC game last year. He can coach the X's and O's but doesnt seem to get the Jimmy's and Joes.

Now it's Welcome back Bob.

He can coach the X's and O's but doesnt seem to get the Jimmy's and Joes. When I say I have concerns about Petrino, that's exactly what I'm talking about. Steve Kragthorpe was in WAY over his head when he showed up here in 2007, not least because he simply didn't have the iron fist and micromanagement tendency of Petrino to keep those guys in line. Lots of craziness when he left. That said, I'd love it I'd Louisville hired another Charlie Strong, but there isn't one around to just fall into Jurich's lap like in 2010.

January 8, 201412 yr Guys, I wasn't trying to take a shot with the L1C4 question. I didn't realize it was a joke amoung most UL fans. Mainly because when it first came out and Uk fans on here were taking shots about it there were UL fans defending it I recall correctly. My question was actually sincere.
